Gail Stanart is active in politics and in our community. She
is currently the first Houston Representative for Newt Gingrich's national
organization American Solutions. During
her tenure as President, Texas Tea Party Republican Women was named the fastest growing
large Republican Women's club in the
United States. Gail also received the 2008
Texas Federation of Republican Women Tribute to Women award.

She is Precinct 0451 Chairman and was Credentials
Chair of the 2010 Senate District 7 Convention. She has served as 2008
Vice Chair and was the 2008-2009 Harris County Republican Party Candidates
Committee Chair. In 2006 she was Campaign Office
Manager for Candidate Dan Patrick, coordinating his very busy campaign office
and the dozens of volunteers who worked in and out of the office. She
continues working with both legislators and candidates and is actively involved
in several of the tea Prty groups, including North Harris Tea Party Patriots and
King Street Patriots.
Gail has been associated with many different organizations and businesses--as an
employee and as a volunteer. Gail served on the Champions Colony III
HOA board and as Secretary. As co-owner, she helped build one of the most
successful Nationwide Insurance agencies in Texas. She was the Office
Manager for the construction of the Shell Research Facility in West Houston. She worked as a paralegal helping with the successful appeal to the 14th
Appellate Court as well as managing a two-man law firm. She has coordinated up
to 1000 volunteers for church functions and organized the 250-member Christmas
Tree choir at Champion Forest Baptist Church where she has been an active member
for almost 20 years. Gail is a Team Leader in Mary Kay Cosmetics and has
actively worked her business for over ten years. She has enjoyed teaching Bible studies both for her church, her
community and Community Bible Study. She is a member of Champion Forest
Baptist Church in Mark Lanier's Life Group and travels frequently to
Thailand to work with children.
Gail knows the value of a community college by taking classes herself and also
through her stepsons who have attended Lone Star College System before
transferring to Texas A & M. She is married to Stan Stanart who is also
deeply committed to improving the education students receive in Harris County.
Stan is the Republican canidate for Harris County Clerk. He continues to
serve as Chief Technology Officer of the Harris County Republican Party even as
he works for the Harris County Tax Office as Associate Director of MIS.
Gail is deeply committed to her community and desires to build greater
opportunity for all members of the community by strengthening and developing the
great Lone Star College System.
